Fractional GM & Product Lead
for DeFi Protocols.
I build, launch, and scale DeFi protocols. Not just the product — the whole business.
I was the General Manager of Onchain Lending at Trust Machines, where I built Granite Finance from zero: market and user research, prototyping, mechanism design, hiring and managing the engineering team, coordinating auditors and market makers, and driving go-to-market. The protocol hit $25M TVL on a nascent blockchain as the primary institutional borrowing venue.
I work with DeFi teams at any stage — from new protocols figuring out their core mechanics to established ones that need senior product or operational leadership.
What I do
- Market research, competitive analysis, user research
- Prototyping and product validation
- Protocol mechanism design from first principles
- Product strategy and roadmap definition
- Engineering team hiring and management
- Sprint planning, architecture decisions, code review oversight
- Partnership development — market makers, liquidators, auditors, integrations
- Business operations — sales, biz dev, stakeholder management
- Go-to-market strategy and execution
- Marketing content strategy and creation
- Fundraising support — $90M+ raised for founders
Track record
Built and launched a Bitcoin-collateralized stablecoin lending protocol on Stacks L2.
- Owned the entire product lifecycle — research, strategy, roadmap, design, prototyping, development, audit, launch.
- Designed all protocol mechanisms from scratch (no forking — Stacks is not Solidity-compatible).
- Invented "soft liquidation" — cut user losses by 99% and improved drawdown resistance by 50%.
- Invented a hyper-efficient liquidation engine — 25× capacity increase, 300× less slippage.
- Invented a novel LP staking mechanism that solved the "protocol insurance doom loop."
Co-founded a delta-neutral DeFi fund with a Sharpe ratio of 6.5.
- Managed capital across 20+ major lending, DEX, and perps platforms.
- Built internal portfolio management and opportunity analysis system.
Head of Product → COO at a real estate analytics startup.
- Built the core BI product from customer prototyping in Excel through launch and $8M in revenue.
- Built data cleansing tools that reduced customer error rates by 90%.
- Co-led the $60M acquisition by RealPage at 9× ARR.
Working structure
- Fixed-scope projects, architecture sprints, or monthly retainers.
- 2–8 weeks for architecture engagements; 1–3 months for advisory retainers.
- Focused external advisory, not embedded engineering.
- Defined scope and timeline for every engagement.
